We regret to inform you that, as of November 30, 2024, Pickaw will no longer support contests on X (formerly Twitter) . This difficult decision was made after careful consideration and is due to unexpected rising operational costs within X's ecosystem, which have made it financially unsustainable for us to continue offering these services.

The rest of our platform, including services on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, remains fully operational and ready to support your campaigns.

We regret having to inform you on such short notice, but this delay is beyond our control and has been equally challenging for us to manage. We understand that this news may be as difficult for you as it is for us. Our team is fully committed to assisting you throughout this transition, so we kindly ask for your patience and respect toward our employees.

🚨 Step 1

Please log in to your Pickaw account as soon as possible and connect an alternative social profile to your account. After November 30, the X login will no longer be active, meaning you will not be able to access your account using it.
How ? Go to your Profile (click on your name at the top right of your screen) and click the "Associate a new account" button.

🚨Step 2

If you were using our platform exclusively for X, please update your subscription before its renewal date to avoid any unintended charges.
How ? Go to your Team, then Subscription and click on the "Manage subscription" button.
Note: For annual subscriptions, our team will contact you as soon as possible to provide assistance.

Why is X being discontinued from Pickaw ?



This has been a very difficult decision for us to make, as X (formerly Twitter) has been part of Pickaw's services since the very beginning of our platform. Unfortunately, just a few days ago, we were informed of a significant X-policy API changes (commercial terms of use for certain APIs), external regulatory requirements, and unexpected increase in operational costs required to continue using X's API. These new pricing structures have made it financially unsustainable for us to continue offering services on this network.

Despite our efforts to secure more time for a smoother transition, we were unable to do so. The X API link to our SaaS has to be shut down by November 30th.

We understand how challenging and disappointing this news may be for you, and it is equally difficult for us. Please know that our team members are doing their absolute best to assist each and every one of our customers during this transition. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

What will happen with my account?



If your account was linked only to an X social media profile, you may be eligible for a refund for the unused period between December 1 and the end of your subscription. Our team will carefully review each case to assess the impact of X's shutdown on your subscription. The email address you used during your subscription will be the one we use to contact you with all relevant information regarding your refund. This process can take up to 4-6 weeks as we work through the verification and refund process, and will do our best to process quickly. Thank you for your patience during this process.
If your account is linked to other social medias, then no worries. You can still access your Pickaw account using one of those and use your services on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Why can't I be refunded if I have other social media profiles linked to my Pickaw account?



Pickaw's SaaS solution & subscriptions provide access to contest tools and features across multiple social platforms. While X will no longer be supported as of December 1st, you can still use our features on other platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

I cannot connect to my Pickaw account thought X social connect:



If you did not link an alternative social media profile other than X before November 30th, you will no longer be able to log into your account. However, don’t worry, we can still assist you.
Please write to us at hello@pickaw.com. Our team will guide you through an alternative connection option. For this process, you will need to have access to:
Your X account.
The email linked to your account.
A unique code that will be sent to you by email upon request, and you will have to send it back through your X account.
We’re here to help you regain access as smoothly as possible, all details will be explained in the email you will receive.

What if I do not have access to my X account?



If you cannot access your X account, unfortunately, this creates an issue for us. Without access to your X account, we cannot provide access to your Pickaw account, as it was created using a token tied to that profile. This is not a decision made by Pickaw but a mandatory security measure to prevent any unauthorized access or identity theft.
Please contact the X social media platform to regain access to your profile before reaching out to us for further assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
